Charleston Ghost Tours
Charleston Ghost Tours on a pay-what-you-like basis. Charleston is a city with 350 year tumultuous history, from wars, slavery, jilted lovers, and pirates. With centuries of these tortured souls being left to wander the historic streets, Charleston at night is filled with apparitions, dark shadows, and the feeling that someone is watching you. Perhaps you’re having a meal at Poogan’s Porch, a Victorian home from the 1880s turned restaurant – guests often see the image of an older woman with her grey hair in a bun and wire rimmed glasses staring back at them in the ladies’ room mirror.
Join us on one of our Charleston Ghost tours as we take you through the alleys and into the shadowed corners of the darker side of the city’s history. Our guide will tell you the stories behind the sightings and take you through the old homes, church and cemeteries where you’ll feel the chills and presence of hundreds of years of brave soldiers killed in battle, lost loves and murder.
