DC By Foot is a group of young (and young at heart), fun loving guides who have come together for a common cause: To teach history and entertain guests with creative tours of DC.

Meet the crew:

SteveSteve: A Jersey boy at heart, Steve is an adopted DC resident who has over five years of tour guiding experience. He has lived in London and completed a graduate program in International Relations in Germany. A former congressional staffer, Steve knows the ins and outs of political DC.

Ricky BobbyRicky Bobby: An adventure seeker, Ricky Bobby has given tours of DC on segways, bicycles, skateboards and electric go carts. He has run all over the city since his days on the cross country team. He loves technology and also gives tours in Spanglish.

CandenCanden: Don't let the accent fool you, she's not actually British. Canden earned a Masters in History from University College London and picked it up along the way. Originally from North Carolina, she now lives in DC and spends most of the day trying to convince people to be on her Trivia Pub Quiz team. Canden entered the real world as a teacher but left the profession for tour guiding, where people actually listen to what you say. When not guiding, she can probably be found playing tourist on someone else's tour, fiddling in her home music studio, or updating her blog District of Canden

CeciliaCecilia: Cecilia hails from Wisconsin, the land flowing with beer and cheese. She made her way to DC by way of Hawaii and New Jersey to put her International Relations background to good use. When she is not giving tours Cecilia enjoys excursions into the wilderness, singing in elevators, experimental cooking and looking for and sharing fun facts of a variety of different topics!

ChrisChris: Christopher is enthusiastic about Abe Lincoln. He is enthusiastic about General Washington. He is enthusiastic about.well lets just say he is enthusiastic. For over a decade, Christopher worked for education non-profits, teaching students of all ages, civic responsibility, government, history and recess. So if you are interested in the Civil War, Civil Rights or Four Square, he is the guide for you. Originally from Ohio, Christopher came to D.C. to study at American University. When not guiding, he is at work in his other full time job as a stay at home dad for Norah and Cecelia.

MalteMalte: Malte is originally from Germany, but moved to Los Angeles 9 years ago to attend college. He left California 3 years ago for DC to earn a Masters in International Relations at Georgetown University. His tours, also in German, are in high demand with family and friends visiting from Europe. When not guiding tours he can be found playing beach volleyball at the Lincoln Memorial pretending that the Potomac is actually the Pacific Ocean.

Eddie: Originally from Oregon, Eddie is known for his charming looks, entertaining wit and tours you are sure to enjoy. He is a futbol fan so ask him how his team Manchester United is playing.
