Our first stop of our Food Tour in Rio de Janeiro is for lunch at one of the best restaurants of typical Brazilian food in Rio! We’ll try our exclusive selection of 8-10 samples of Brazilian dishes and snacks, drinks included! You`ll try food samples from the south to the north of Brazil.
Then we’ll walk around Santa Teresa to learn about the history and curiosities of one of the most charming neighborhoods in Rio. Home to many artists for over a century, the endearing architecture keeps the feel of old Rio and the winding streets are colored with street art. Santa Teresa is located uphill and is also famous for the wonderful view of the city and the Guanabara Bay!
We’ll visit: The Ruins Park, Laurinda Santos Lobo Cultural Center, Santa Teresa Tram to go down*.
The bus to Santa Teresa is not included. It costs R$ 3,80
*The tram is under renovation. It might be closed or undergoing maintenance. In this case, Free Walker can’t guarantee we will be able to take it.
