Downtown San Francisco Tour
On this tour, we will explore the heart of San Francisco. Join us and you’ll discover who San Franciscans are. You’ll see what we care about, what we spend our time on, and how we designed this city to be a beautiful place to live. You’ll see the history of the construction of the city, the destruction caused by the great earthquake and fire of 1906, and how the rebuilding created one of the greatest cities in the world. You’ll also see why every building in the area looks so interesting and unique, with hidden places in the middle of downtown that even the locals don’t know about!
Sites we cover include:
- The “Path of Gold” through the heart of the city
- The famous San Francisco Ferry Building
- Hidden parks of the city, built on the tops of buildings or in hollowed-out banks
- Amazing art deco skyscrapers
- The Palace Hotel, the most luxurious hotel in San Francisco for many years. (And built with stolen money!)
