Free Bike Tours

Starting in late March, Free Tours by Foot will be introducing various free bike tours of Manhattan and Brooklyn, including Central Park and the Brooklyn Bridge.

How can we offer free bike tours?  Well, it's easy actually.  Like our other tours, our expert, licensed guides will work just for tips.    Our tours are BYOB (bring your own bike).  Most bike rental shops will charge you $40/person and up for a 2 hour bike tour.  With bike rentals as low as $10 for 2 hours, you could be paying $30/person and higher for a 2 hour bike tour (+tip!).  Additionally, if you want to rent your bike by the day, you usually won't get a discount on the tour.

Don't have a bike?  No worries.  There are countless companies offering bike rentals throughout the city.  We've listed the companies that offer hourly and daily bike rentals.  All locations are within a few blocks from the starting points of our tours, so you won't have to go very far to join our free tours.
