Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Do I need to make a reservation?
A: Reservations are required for
guaranteed spots on all
tours. Reservations help us determine the number of guides we need
to ensure that our groups remain manageable and enjoyable, and allows us
to notify you of changes to the tour due to weather or anything that could
disturb the tours. Any late arrivals with reservations
who do not contact us may have their reserved spots allotted to walk-up
guests.
Walk-up guests for these tours will be permitted if space is
available. However, we strongly suggest contacting us before walking
up to a tour. Groups of 6 or more MUST
contact us before reserving
our public tours. We are always available to provide groups with a private
group tour.

Q: Do the tours ever get cancelled for weather?
A: The show must go on! Dress
appropriately for the conditions. Comfortable walking shoes are
recommended. However, extreme weather (blizzards, prolonged heavy
rain, etc) may cancel or postpone the
tour. Please contact us or check the website for updates.
Q: Can you recommend the best place to eat after each tour? A: That's a good question. With over 24,000 eating establishments in NYC, it's really difficult to say what is best. All-in-One tour may be a bit long for small children.
Q: How long are the walks?
A:
Most of our tours are a little over one mile (1.6k) in length. The tours are approximately 2 hours in length.
Our AIO tour is roughly 4 miles of walking and lasts 6 hours.
Q: Can we bring our dog?
A: We love dogs! We welcome dogs on our tours as long as they are on a leash and are well behaved. If your dog becomes a problem, we may have to ask you to leave the tour.
