Docks Area and African Heritage

docksIn this Free Walking Tour of Docks Area and African Heritage we’ll see the changes the Olympics brought to Rio as you visit the renovated area of the docks where we can see the new Museum of Tomorrow, the Olympic Boulevard and street arts, including one of the biggest pieces of graffiti in the world!

We also get to learn about the history of slavery in Brazil and the huge influence African culture had in Brazilian music, religion and customs as we go to historical landmarks and World Heritage Sites to trace it back to colonial times.
