When Tours by Foot began, our vision was simple: make exploring cities accessible through “pay what you wish” walking tours. That model allowed countless guests to enjoy history, culture, and storytelling, regardless of budget.
As we’ve grown, so have our tours. We now offer more specialized experiences - from food tastings to museum visits - that require advance costs like venue tickets, small group guarantees, and fair compensation for our guides. To continue offering high-quality experiences, many of these tours are now ticketed at a fixed price.
That doesn’t mean our spirit has changed. In some cities, you’ll still find classic “name your own price” tours - especially our introductory and evening walks. And across every city, our commitment remains the same: to deliver tours that are engaging, affordable, and led by passionate locals.
