Join New York Tours by Foot on one of our Brooklyn Heights walking tours as we take it one of New York City's most historic, beautiful and architecturally diverse neighborhoods.

WHAT IS THERE TO SEE IN BROOKLYN HEIGHTS?

Known as America's first suburb, Brooklyn Heights is truly a gem. Its beauty is rivaled only by its place in American history.

These quaint, tree-lined streets have been the sites of Revolutionary War battles, abolitionist activism and have inspired numerous novelists.

A walk on the Promenade cannot be missed!

It's an area with beautiful homes in various architectural styles, from Federal to Greek, Gothic, and Renaissance Revivals, from 1820s carriage homes to 1880s mansions.

Visit a stop on the Underground Railroad, or the home of Truman Capote, where he penned Breakfast at Tiffany's.

Come also for the stories of engineering feats, military defeats, anti-slavery preachers, prodigious authors, legendary athletes, and fictional TV families.

If anything, come for the unbeatable views of Manhattan.

For more on the history of the neighborhood and some tips on things to see, do and eat, read our guide to Brooklyn Heights.
